"HY-Data FACE" 1st generation, operates chatbot service and integrated platform for comparative curriculum

On February 2nd, Hanyang University's Higher Education Innovation Foundation announced the background and the achievements of "HY-Data FACE" at the "2020 HYU University Innovation Support Project Untact Performance Sharing Campaign."

"HY-Data FACE" is a program promoted to expand and improve student value creation culture, one of the key ideas for Hanyang University's mid-long-term development plan, and to establish an active interactive communication system for students within the education policy and the operation process. In addition, this project was carried out with the student value creation division as part of the university innovation support project.

"HY-Data FACE" is in charge of promoting and monitoring projects for new platforms such as a "chatbot service," a communication channel, and a "comparative integrated management system" to form a competency-based student growth portfolio. The first generation of "HY-Data FACE", ended activities in February 2021, consisted of 15 people, 10 from the Seoul campus and 5 from the ERICA campus and was carried out online due to COVID-19. In order to overcome the limitations of an online program, the project produced a Google-based online tool kit, allowing the students to perform pre-assignments and share content while conducting efficient meetings. Through these activities, the students were able to experience being postmen of university administration by leading service planning and promotional events for students on new platforms.

"Chatbot Service" is continuously stacking Q&A datasets and is improving the service accuracy. The 'Chatbot Service Naming Contest' took part in November 2020 with 3,900 participants by the 3rd day. The "Comparative Education Integrated Platform" naming contest was also held in mid-December 2020.
