Colloquium established to implement an education environment with digital innovation

Five Seoul eastern area universities (Hanyang University, Kyunghee University, Korea University, Sungkyunkwan University, and Hankuk University of Foreign Studies) signed an Innovative Sharing Exchange Agreement for the "new normal" era's remote education substantialization with digital innovation education content and technology sharing cooperation on February 19, at 8 am at the JW Marriott Dongdaemun Square Seoul Tabolo 24.

Through this agreement, the five universities aim to actively manage global education environment changes and establish new models of cooperation by strengthening practical exchanges between universities to realize their goal of fostering future talents and producing innovative value.

In the five university colloquiums that will be held before the signing, each university will present and share innovative cases to discuss ways to expand their unique value and characteristics in various fields such as education, research, and academics.

Ultimately, the universities plan to realize their goals of educating future talents in the 4th Industrial Revolution era, producing innovative values, and promoting Innovation Support Business Cooperation Result Forum events will be the first step to specifically enact sharing an open education platform for the new normal after the COVID-19 pandemic to form learning environments with digital innovation.

The Result Forum scheduled this June will be a time to share the results of the student-centered Innovation Support Business by presenting digital-based education innovation cases and debates on the future high-education development directions.
