The Korean Association for Survey Research, which is an academic society specializing in social research, and statistics field, selected the paper of Professor Shin Yu-hyung at the Hanyang University's School of Business, ("Linking Motivation, Emotional Labor, and Service Performance From a Self-Determination Perspective") and paper of Professor Kim Sang-hag at the Hanyang University's Department of Sociology ("Research on Values and Dual-Process Theory: Application of Implicit Cognitive Measures") for the excellence award in 2023 Gallup Korea Award sponsored by the Korea Gallup Research Institute. In the Ph.D. thesis category, Hwang Han-sol of Hanyang University's School of Business won the Honor of excellence award ("The Impact of Remote Work Intensity on Job Crafting through Job Demands: Focusing on the Moderating Effects of Paradoxical Leadership Behavior and Result Control Systems.")

The Korean Association for Survey Research has selected four winning papers for the Gallup Korea Award, which has contributed to the advancement of social survey research in Korea. These papers were chosen among a total of 67 recommended papers published in prestigious domestic and international academic journals in various fields such as social sciences, statistics, and survey practice in 2022.

For the Gallup Korea Award in the Ph.D. thesis category, two papers have been selected as winners of the excellence award among the doctoral dissertations awarded by domestic universities from March 2022 to February 2023. These papers were submitted based on the recommendation of the advisor and went through the evaluation process.

The awarding ceremony will be held at the Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry on May 26 (Friday).
