All three projects 'Songwoohun', 'ANArKH', and 'Willow 997-1' Won the Prize
Professor Kim Seuk-hoon from the Department of Interior Architecture Design won three prizes from the 'iF Design Award' of Germany, one of the world's top three design awards. His three projects, <Songwoohun>, <ANArKH>, and <Willow 997-1> are the winners of the 2024 award.
<Songwoohun> is a space with the meaning of 'a house where one meets dwarf trees'. Customers can take a good rest and enjoy happiness with small dwarf trees.
<ANArKH> has two stories of a bakery cafe and one floor for a professional coffee bar and for the other two stories, they are planned to enable various green experiences. Reflecting on the situation where the location is at the center of a limited development area, he tried to use such characteristics as a benefit of this space.
<Willow 997-1> is designed by Professor Kim and Studio Eccentric. It is designed as a new office for Studio Eccentric and as a creative art space. It remodeled a 68-year-old stone building at the center of one of the largest traditional markets of Seoul and it spans 495 square meters.
