Hanyang University announced that on June 26, Hanyang University (President Lee Ki-jeong) and Seongdong Chamber of Commerce (Chairman Heo Jeong-mu) signed an agreement to cultivate outstanding talents and to contribute to the local society through industry-university connection and cooperation.

Through this agreement, both organizations get to form a sharing ecosystem of 'local society-industry-university-research' for local industry development by forming an industry-university connection and mutual cooperation system.

Main cooperation ideas are △ an expansion of industry-university cooperation and project cooperation △ infrastructure connection and internship for younger generations △ social volunteering system and field experience connection enhancement △ solutions for small and middle-sized companies' technological and managerial issues △ mutual education system sharing and support.

At the ceremony that took place at Seoul Campus, Hanyang University, on June 22, President Lee Ki-jeong said, "I am glad to form an industry-university cooperation and we will do our best to support."

Chairman Heo Beom-mu of the Chamber of Commerce said, "We are glad to have a cooperative relationship with Hanyang University which has outstanding talents and infrastructures. We will do our best to create synergies through mutual cooperation."
