On October 10, Hanyang University ERICA Shared-AI-Robotics Education (Director Park Tae-joon) signed an entrusted education institution agreement with Doosan Robotics and officially opened Gyeonggi Ansan Education Center.

Hanyang University ERICA Campus is an operating university of the intelligence robot high-tech field innovation convergence university project that the Ministry of Education and the National Research Foundation selected and is the only designated operating institution of intelligence robot high-tech industry co-training center that the Ministry of Employment and Labor.

Doosan Robotics, the top company in the cobot field and Ansan City (Mayor Lee Min-geun), and Gyeonggi Techno Park (Director Yoo Dong-joon) cooperate for this education center and the center will provide professional education chances for people who are interested in cobots and those who are working in the field and to create relevant job positions. 

Doosan Robotics, through this agreement and the opening of the education center, is going to work for the development of the robot industry and the cultivation of robotics talents in the Gyeonggi Province including Ansan.

Gyeonggi Techno Park, as a part of Robot City Ansan, will pilot-operate intelligence robot test bed with Hanyang University ERICA and provide a practice room space for cobots on the second floor of the RIT Center, Gyeonggi Techno Park, Ansan.

Also, Ansan is going to make the city the center of the future high-tech industry by finding out sustainable innovative growth motivation such as high-tech manufacturing and robots and is expecting various synergies such as creating new job positions by enforcing cooperation with Hanyang University.

Director Park Tae-joon of ERICA SHARE (Professor at the Department of Robotics) said, "Through the opening of this education center, I am expecting it to create infinite synergy effects by collaborating with Doosan Robotics. I will promote various educational projects that can expand the basis for the cobot market and cultivate professional human talents."
