Hanyang University (President Lee Ki-jeong) and Guro-gu District Office (Mayor Moon Heon-il) signed an agreement for local society development and cooperation in local industry and economy cultivation and outstanding talent cultivation. Both organizations formed a government-industry-university connection and cooperation system and formed an 'institute-industry-university-research' co-living environment for local society development.

The main agreements are △ finding a creative idea for local society innovation △ commercialization of university-owned outstanding technologies △ educational program for startups, field training, and talent cultivation △ support for technological and business hardships among local industries.

At the 'Guro-gu - Hanyang University Memorandum' that took place at the Renaissance Hall, Guro-gu District Office on October 26, Mayor Moon Heon-il (Guro-gu District Office), Councillor Hong Yong-min (Guro-gu District Council), Director Kim Ki-joong (Administration and Finance Branch), Director Yoon Jae-woo (Planning and Economics Branch), Director Kim Hyeon-sook (Smart Environment Branch), President Lee Ki-jeong, Director Kim Hak-seong (LINC 3.0), Director Kang Sang-ki (AI Solution Center), and Director So Hong-yoon (LINC 3.0 CONNECT Center) took place.

President Lee Ki-jeong of Hanyang University said, "I am glad that we signed an MOU with Guro-gu District Office which is forming a fourth-industrial revolution-based high-end industry city around the G Valley, and we will do our best afterwards."

Mayor Moon Heon-il said, "We are glad to have a cooperative relationship with Hanyang University which has a leading research group of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and outstanding curricula and we will do our best to cooperate to create synergy in various fields such as local industry and economy cultivation and talent cultivation."
