Department of Nuclear Engineering master's program, until the 9th of May

In line with the government's recent stragety to grow the nuclear decommission industry, Hanyang University will recruit new students from May 9th for its Advanced Track for Decontamination and Waste Management Technology Concerning Nuclear Demolition (Advanced Track for Cultivating a Workforce for Nuclear Demolition below) master's program. It is known that there are not many experts in Korea despite the growing interest in nuclear decommission technology worldwide.

The Advanced Track for Cultivating a Workforce for Nuclear Demolition program will operate to foster individuals with combined expertise in the fields of decontamination and waste management, which are key technologies in the nuclear decommission industry. Students enrolling in the track will be given scholarships for energy human resources development projects conducted by the Korea Energy Technology Assessment Institute and will be able to receive a variety of education including field training and overseas field trips as well as academic theoretical education in such as areas as measurement, decomtamination, and waste management technologies.

Besides those who have a bachelor's degree in nuclear engineering from in or outside of Korea, those with a bachelor's degree in science and engineering majors may also apply, and the interviews will take place on the 25th.
