Hanyang University's Graduate School of Business has newly established the first MBA ESG track in Korea since the fall of 2021.

The ESG track is a co-teaching system that can maximize the synergy between full-time professors with Korea’s best research capabilities and adjunct professors with rich practical experience to systematically educate ESG-related theories, major policies and issues, and practice after condensed study of the required courses of business school.

On-demand PBL courses and IC-PBL courses are operated to enhance students' workplace competency. Students select and solve on-site ESG problems such as ESG report writing, ESG communication strategy, and ESG investment analysis in On-demand PBL courses, while they can solve ESG problems presented by companies and receive feedback in  IC-PBL courses.

This course is an online-centered course that allows students to obtain degrees only through online classes. All subjects of the program are conducted simultaneously both online and offline in real time, maximizing access to ESG education in the field. It also supports the provision of linked programs such as forums consisting of graduates and field experts and quarterly ESG issue special lectures to support ESG expert activities after obtaining a degree.

In the fall of 2021, when ESG Track was newly established, a total of 21 new students entered the Graduate School of Business with ESG Track. In the 2021 fall semester, subjects such as ‘Sustainable Finance’, ‘Sustainable Management Strategy’, ‘ESG Introduction’, and ‘MBA Foundation’ opened.
