Hanyang University ERICA’s per-student scholarship in 2025 was reported to be approximately 4.31 million KRW, the highest among major universities (Seoul National University, Yonsei University, Korea University, Sogang University, Sungkyunkwan University) and nearby institutions (Kyonggi University, Ajou University, Korea Polytechnic University), according to the Korean Council for University Education’s Higher Education in Korea database. Compared to Seoul National University (3.49 million KRW), Yonsei University (3.79 million KRW), Korea University (3.66 million KRW), Sogang University (3.29 million KRW), and Sungkyunkwan University (3.55 million KRW), ERICA’s figure was approximately 400,000 to 1,000,000 KRW higher.

In addition, ERICA recorded a higher average in awarded scholarships than other satellite campuses and nearby universities, including Yonsei University Mirae Campus(3.89 million KRW), Korea University Sejong Campus(3.96 million KRW), Kyonggi University(3.91 million KRW), Ajou University(3.68 million KRW), and Tech University of Korea(3.76 million KRW). The amount of per-student scholarship is calculated by dividing the total scholarship funds by the number of enrolled students, meaning that a higher figure reflects greater scholarship support provided by the university.
