한양대학교구리병원 비뇨기과 이승욱 교수가 지난 3월 8일 삼성서울병원에서 개최된 ‘2014 대한전립선학회 정기학술대회’에서 ‘The Analysis of Tweets the Prostate Written in Korean’라는 논문으로 최우수 논문상과 'Effects of hyaluronic acid and carboxymethylcellulose on urethral stricture after transurethral resections of the prostate for benign prostatic hyperplasia: a multicenter, single blinded, randomized controlled study'라는 논문으로 우수 논문상을 동시에 수상했다.

이승욱 교수는 한양대학교 의과대학을 졸업했으며, 동 대학원에서 석사, 고려대학교 의과대학 대학원에서 박사과정을 마쳤다. 현재 대한전립선학회 편집이사, 대한남성과학회 이사, 대한비뇨기과학회 이사, Korean journal of urology의 ethics editor, The korean journal of urological oncology의 associate editor, The world journal of men’s health의 editorial board 등 활발한 학술활동을 하고 있다
